| KIWI SAVER TOP UP If you wish to gain the full Govt Subsidy on your Kiwi Saver Contributions and think that you have not paid in %1043 over the last year (the minimum amount to get the full subsidy) you need to check now. Log onto the IRD website, and access your account details. Or alternatively call the IRD. You need to make the payment to your Provider no later than 23rd June 2011. Contact your Kiwi Saver Provider to find out their payment options. |
OFF ROAD RUC REFUND RUCs are up 4 to 8 cents per km depending on the vehicle type. If you have a diesel vehicle licensed for use on the road and pay road user charges but use the vehicle off the public road system you can claim a refund of RUCs for this 'off road' travel. www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/factsheets/38/road-user-charges-1-6-tonne-vehicles.html Excise duty comprises 48.524 cents per litre of petrol. | EMISSIONS TRADING SCHEME - ETS The ETS as it applies to forestry is law in NZ. If you have a woodland or forestry block which is more than one hectare in area you should have an idea of what it means, as some of the dates by which you may need to take action are looming.
